ICQ 帳號被偷了

這是象徵時代的隕落嗎(苦笑)？

前幾天把 GMail 的 Chat 功能打開，突然想到可以把 ICQ 帳號當 AIM 登進去，掛好玩的，結果密碼一直不過，去了 ICQ 頁面查了一下才發現被盜了，連 profile 也整個被改掉了。

ICQ 的 Password Recovery 據說可以拿曾經輸入的任何 E-mail 來救帳號，但是我試了卻沒用，Google 了一些說法是發現這個「據說」只限於某個時間之後輸入的 E-mail。然後，據說 ICQ 曾經因為 protocol 有 flow 所以發生過大規模帳號被盜的事情… 雖說我當年的密碼設的極為簡單，要被 brutal force attack 猜中我也不意外啦。現在各地帳號用的密碼當然複雜多了。

真可惜，是 7 碼的帳號耶。

My ICQ account got stolen. The current profile shows some kid from Russia. Password Recovery won’t help – it seems my e-mail entries was too old to be recorded.

Not the that I really need it; it just that it’s a 7-digit UIN, in a way significant to me.
